Ardrey Kell NC senior Murphy Smith joins DyeStat editor Doug Binder to discuss the North Carolina high school cross country season, which began officially in late November and will conclude January 22-23 at Kernersville. Smith won the SoMeck 7 Conference title on Wednesday at McApline Park in Charlotte and is one of the favorites going forward at the 4A West Regional meet on Jan. 15 and the Class 4A state championship, which will be run in two sections, on January 23.
